I’ve been there—convinced I didn’t belong, overwhelmed by fear of judgment, and stuck in a loop of self-doubt.
As someone with a spinal cord injury, a walker, and extra weight, walking into a gym felt impossible.
I worried about the stares, the whispers, and feeling out of place. But one day, I decided to fight back—not against the gym, but against the stories I was telling myself.
I started small: a few minutes on a machine, some gentle stretches, and deep breaths to quiet my inner critic.
Every step forward was an act of courage.
That’s why I created Sweat & Self-Love—to help others like you reclaim your confidence, quiet the fear, and discover movement as an act of self-love.
